The Swim Workout From Saturday...

This past Saturday I went to the Montgomery Ancient Mariners Swim Practice in Olney which is usually a rare occasion! The coach for Saturday mornings is awesome and gives us workouts that are challenging! But this workout was a huge challenge! Aside from the last 4 by 50 choice I didn't get to complete because we had to get out of the water at 9 am, I swam the rest of it, including an additional 500 Free warm up before the workout on paper started! The most challenging part of the workout was the 200 Fly in the middle of the whole thing! I was determined to swim the whole 200 Fly and no other stroke but fly! I was the only one in my lane who did this and I don't think there were many others who came to practice who actually swam the whole thing Fly! It was hard and tiring! During the first 100 my technique was very good! The last 100 though my technique deteriorated like not other! But I finished it and in under 4 minutes, which is a HUGE accomplishment right there! I got a copy of the workout so I can swim it again but who knows if I'll swim that 200 Fly again! Here We Go!
