Oh So Many Good Things...

In spite of losing mom almost two weeks ago... oh so many good things are happening...

*Pittsburgh 26.2 is a week from today... which means I will be an 8 time 26.2 finisher... not just do I get to run the Run of Bridges but I get to see family... including two oh so cute doggies that my cousin has...

*My sponsorship with Team reGen has started... and it's a blast... lots of my running and tri peeps love the stuff and they want more samples... plus I have some cool gear and will be getting more the end of the month...

*I'm applying to become a Girls on the Run of Montgomery County Coach for next school year... after fundraising this spring for them... I really want to get more involved with the organization and this is my chance... lets cross our fingers and hope I get it...

*My 27th Birthday is in T minus 10 days... I know no big deal... but it's my day...

Here we go...

I think the best runs (and races) are the ones where we realize just how lucky we are to be able to run, and how happy running makes us.
Good luck for the marathon, have fun, and I can't wait to hear all about it! :D

Oh my gosh, Marci, I am SO sorry to hear about your mom. That is so incredibly sad! I am really behind in reading blogs so when I read the first title of this post I was shocked and had to go back and read. Wow, i'm really sorry. Sounds like you are strong and doing well and remaining positive. I'm very sorry.
