Off To A Good Start...

Now that the year of the Ironman and the Marathon has shed light upon me... I guess it's really time to get my butt in gear for the season. To be honest I've been somewhat lazy... but things are changing BIG TIME.

2010 got off to a good start. On Friday dad and I did the traditional Circle of Cycles at Hains Point in DC... where you cycle around Hains Point as many times as you want. I only cycled 12.5 miles while dad did nearly 25. After my loops cycling I did a short brick run of 3.5 miles. Since the Garmin 405 is missing in action as we speak... I had no watch and felt pretty naked during the run without it. I promise to let ya'll know when the Garmin shows up!

I just got back from my short swim of the week. Short meaning only 2000 yards... swam lots of 300s, 200s, 100s, and 125s today. I felt weak... but after several days off of things due to Mother Nature... I guess it normal.

The rest of the week calls for about 30 miles of running... near 100 miles of cycling (most of it on the trainer)... and about 10.5 miles in the pool.

More to come...

That is some amazing distance in the pool. Regardless of how fast you are swimming, that is a serious time investment. Great work!
