Something To Admit...

Since yesterday when I purchased Skinny Bitch at my favorite bookstore... i've slowly made my through the first few chapters. On the cover it states it is...

A no-nonsense, tough love guide, for savy girls who want to stop eating crap and start looking fabulous!


But I see it more as... a diet book... heck you find it in the Health and Fitness section under Diets.

Yes... now I can admit to the blogger world I want to go on a diet... not just becuase I hate the way I look but mostly becuase I want to be healthier... happier... and stronger in so many ways! Good reasons?

As I've read it there is one point that has caught my attention like no other. Giving it up... simple as that! This means soda (something I rarely have)... my Starbucks coffee (wah wah wah)... and get this dairy products (OMG)!

This whole process will be tougher than I thought... but like the commitment I made for IM CDA back in 08... this will be another commitment like no other! I'll keep ya'll informed as I read through this book and on this new transformation and journey in my life!

The one huge thing I learned in trainning for IM is eating for fuel. Just think of being fueled properly for your next workout which is probably just 12 hours from the time you last ate. Garbage in garbage out and crappy workouts suck so...

Just be careful...dieting and training don't mix well - especially the level of training you're doing. Plus, you don't need to lose any weight. ;)

Now eating healthier...that's a whole different ball game.
