Mentally Good :)

Lately, my motivation has reached an all time high for training. Mentallly I'm good... I know I can do White Rock and get 'er done just fine. My mind can take long runs now... I can keep myself occupied enough for long periods of time. But physically... ummm... to be truthful I'm starting to doubt it some. The past few weeks of long runs have been painful on my knees and legs. At mile 12 or 13 my body wants to give in. I push through it though... but it hurts. I can do this... I mean heck I am an Ironman... anything is possible! Right?????

Part of going long is mental but you also need to make sure you recover. Ice, Ice, Ice....and then more Ice!!!

Now stop doubting yourself and keep up the solid training.

You can do it! It's getting to that part of the year where our bodies are starting to tire a bit from the long year. But with a good taper you'll be rockin' White Rock.
