For Pure Enjoyment...

Today I found myself enjoying my longer than normal weekday run. Though I was wearing my Garmin... I didn't really care about what my pace was... what my HR was... I just went out and ran for the sake of running.

Once again I went over to Bethesda and started out on the Capital Cresent. It was such a beautiful run down to Georgetown... colorful leaves everywhere... temps in the high 30s... absolute great White Rock training run. Once into Georgetown... out to West Potomac Park... as snow flurries were starting to fall down. While running along the Potomac by the Watergate building and Kennedy center the temps got a little cooler with snow flurries coming down harder... the chill was very much felt... which made my pace get faster and smoother than on the Crescent. After going past the Washington Momument it was the homestretch to the Smithsonian metro where I metroed it back to Bethesda.

Such a nice run and a fast one to. With almost 11 miles covered my pace was excellent... just a smidge over 8:45... the fastest I've been in a while. So happy that my plan for making it to Boston in just about 4 weeks is all a go from here!

More to come...
