Slow to Learn...
So after a few days of re evaluating Redman Half... and finally getting my positive, perky, and cheerful attitude back... I've slowly but surely have learned the lessons that Redman Half 2008 brought my way...
*Smiling Makes All The Difference*
*It's About Reaching That Finish Line*
*Having Bad Races Are OK*
*You Can't Be #1 All The Time... Sometimes You Have To Suck*
*Having A Good Time Is What Matters*
*It's About LOVING What You're Doing*
I'll be sure to carry these lessons with me as I reach toward the White Rock Marathon eh hem Boston... and then on towards Redman Full Iron in 09...
More to come...

good luck
I don't "race" every race. Sometimes I go with friends, dress up, take pictures on the course, raise money for charity, etc. Sometimes the "race" is just one morning's activity of a hell-A-cious drunken Girls' Weekend.
I feel like I'm fast enough already.
Besides, no one in the grocery store, or in the school parking lot, or at the kids' tennis center recognize me from the podium anyway. ;-)
I think everybody ought to do a couple throw-away races every year.
Drink up!
